I am still piecing together several strands of Gilberts of this part of Norfolk (there are so many Gilberts around the area!). These Gilberts are ancestral relatives of my great grandmother Amelia Gilbert. So sad, as the two sons of this part of the family died young, at 17 and 23. I am attaching photos to my online family tree, of parish register entries, monumental inscriptions, and family photos where I have them, and hoping that there are others out there who have more information on the Gilbert families in the Blofield district.
